Amtech G4200 Flooring Installation Kit

This kit is designed for laminate and hardwood flooring with a thickness between 7mm and 15mm.

The kit includes a mallet with rubber and hard plastic heads, a pull bar, a tapping block, and spacers/wedges.

Place the tapping block on the edge of the flooring plank and gently tap it with the mallet to join the planks together.

The pull bar is used to help secure the final rows of flooring. Place the pull bar against the wall and the plank and tap it gently with a mallet.

The kit includes 20 spacers or wedges.

Spacers are essential for creating expansion gaps, which allow the flooring to expand and contract with temperature and humidity changes without buckling.

Clean the tools after each use and store them in a dry place to prevent rust and damage.

This kit is not designed for vinyl flooring. It is intended for use with laminate and hardwood flooring only.

Check for debris in the groove or tongue of the planks. Ensure you are using the tapping block and mallet correctly to gently tap the planks into place. Also, check for any unevenness or debris on the subfloor.

Ensure the pull bar is properly positioned and that there is enough space between the last row and the wall. Use a scrap piece of flooring if necessary to protect the flooring.

Use tape to temporarily secure the spacers to the wall. Ensure the spacers are placed consistently for an even gap.
