Simms ExStream Hooded Quilted Jacket - Black

The jacket uses PrimaLoft® Silver Thermoplume w/ Cross Core™ technology for insulation.

The jacket is water-repellent, but not fully waterproof. It is designed to shed light moisture but is best suited for dry conditions.

Store the jacket in a dry, clean place, preferably hung or loosely folded to avoid compression of the insulation.

No, do not iron the jacket. The heat can damage the fabric and insulation.

The body is made of Toray® pre-quilted stretch fabric - 30D 91% polyester, 9% spandex with durable water repellent finish.

It has two zippered handwarmer pockets, a zippered chest pocket, and an internal mesh dump pocket that doubles as a stuffsack.

The fill rate is 200g throughout.

Sizes available are Small - XLarge.

Ensure the jacket is clean and dry. Check for any areas where the insulation may have shifted or become compressed. Layer appropriately underneath to maximize warmth.

The durable water repellent (DWR) finish may need to be reactivated. Wash the jacket and tumble dry it on low, or use a DWR restoring product.

Try lubricating the zipper with a dry lubricant or wax. Avoid pulling the zipper roughly, and ensure that no fabric is caught in the zipper.
