Full details

The Comfort Beds Khloe Dumfries Divan Set is designed for individuals seeking a stable and modern mattress foundation, particularly for spare or occasional use. How do I care for the fabric upholstery?

Troubleshooting

Bed base is uneven or wobbly

Ensure all chrome gliders are correctly installed and at the same height. Check that the bed is on a level surface. If the base has multiple sections, ensure they are securely joined.

Headboard is loose or unstable

Verify that the headboard is properly attached to the divan base using all provided fixings. Tighten any screws or bolts securely, but avoid over-tightening.

Mattress feels uncomfortable or uneven

Ensure the mattress has been rotated head-to-foot recently. Allow a few days for the mattress to fully acclimatize after initial setup. If the issue persists, check the mattress care instructions.

Fabric on base or headboard is marked

Gently blot the affected area with a clean, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, consult the specific fabric care guide provided or use a mild fabric cleaner recommended for upholstery, testing in an inconspicuous area first.

Cons

  • Mattress is single-sided and requires rotation, not flipping.
  • Designed primarily for spare/occasional use, may not be ideal for heavy daily use.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Unpack all components, ensuring you have the base, headboard, and mattress.
  2. Attach the chrome gliders to the underside of the base as per the provided instructions.
  3. If the headboard is separate, attach it to the designated points on the base, ensuring it is securely fastened.
  4. Place the mattress onto the platform-top base.

Compatibility:

  • The King-size mattress is designed to fit the King-size divan base.
  • The headboard is compatible with the provided divan base and is designed to fit a standard King-size bed frame.

Care:

  • Base: Wipe the fabric with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Headboard: Similar to the base, use a damp cloth for cleaning. If your chosen fabric requires specific care, refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for that material.
  • Mattress: As the mattress is single-sided, it does not require flipping. However, it should be rotated regularly (head-to-foot) to ensure even wear and prolong its lifespan. Use a soft brush or vacuum attachment to remove surface dust. Do not use harsh detergents or solvents. Ensure the mattress is kept dry.
