Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Initial Time Setting: Pull the crown out (if applicable) or use the mode button to navigate to time setting. Adjust hours, minutes, and seconds using the appropriate buttons (usually 'Adjust' or 'Search').
- Date Setting: Follow a similar procedure to set the month, day, and year. Ensure the auto-calendar is correctly set for accurate date display.
- World Time/Alarm: Refer to the detailed instruction manual for setting specific world time zones, alarms, and the countdown timer. These often involve cycling through modes and using specific buttons for adjustment.
- Hand Alignment: If analog hands don't align perfectly with the digital time after a battery change or strong impact, use the manual correction feature (detailed in the manual).
Compatibility
This watch is a standalone device and is universally compatible with any user. Its durable resin strap is adjustable to fit a wide range of wrist sizes.
Care
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the watch with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and sweat. For stubborn grime, use a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Water Exposure: After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch thoroughly with fresh water and wipe it dry to prevent corrosion of the resin and internal components.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (e.g., direct sunlight on a dashboard) for prolonged periods, as this can affect battery life and resin integrity.
- Shock: While highly shock-resistant, avoid unnecessary strong impacts to prolong the life of the watch. For instance, do not use the watch as a hammer.
