FAQs

Can I put this towel in the dryer?

It is recommended to air dry the towel. If you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting possible to avoid damaging the microfibre.

Is the towel large enough for a tall adult?

Yes, at 80 x 160cm, it provides ample coverage for most adults.

How do the hanging loops work?

The loops are integrated into the corner seams, allowing you to easily hook the towel onto branches, chair backs, or tent fixtures.

Can I use this for the beach?

Absolutely. Its quick-dry nature and lightweight design make it an excellent choice for beach trips where you want to minimize sand retention and pack weight.

Will this towel fray after repeated use?

It is constructed for durability, but ensure you follow proper care instructions to keep the fabric edges in good condition.

Troubleshooting

The towel is not absorbing water as effectively as before.

This is often caused by residue from fabric softeners. Wash the towel again without detergent or softener, or use a small amount of white vinegar to strip the fibers.

The towel has developed an odor.

Ensure it is fully dry before folding and packing it away. If an odor persists, machine wash it with a mild detergent and ensure it air dries completely in an open, airy space.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Dries significantly faster than traditional cotton towels
Extremely lightweight and easy to pack
Large surface area provides full-body coverage
Integrated loops make drying simple in any location
Soft texture feels gentle on the skin

Cons

Synthetic microfibre requires specific laundry care
Texture may feel different to those accustomed to plush cotton
Must be kept away from excessive heat sources to avoid damage

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: simply unfold and use. When hanging for storage or drying, utilize the integrated dual loops to ensure even airflow.

To ensure the longevity of the microfibre fabric, wash the towel with similar synthetic materials. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these chemicals coat the microfibre threads and significantly reduce their absorbency over time. For best results, air dry the towel away from direct, high-intensity heat sources like open campfires or high-heat radiators, which can cause the synthetic fibers to lose their integrity.
