Eclipse Professional Tools EBC-EC24 End Cut Bolt Cutters Forged, Blue, 24-Inch. These bolt cutters feature a pincer movement ideal for cutting in restricted areas or where a side cut is difficult, such as cutting off bolt heads. The jaws are drop forged and machined to precise specifications for a resilient body and rigid cutting edge. They have solid forged handles and built-in safety stops designed to yield rather than break for maximum safety. Every pound of force applied to the handles is amplified to produce 80lbs (36kg) of force between the jaws, making them versatile for cutting high tensile steel rods, bolts, pre-stressed concrete reinforcing rods, mesh and wire, cold drawn alloy steel, and tempered sprung wire. The end-cut design and pincer movement of the head provide a close cut. Specifications: Model EBC-EC24, Size 610mm (24"), Cutting Capacity 7.9mm (5/16") max, Weight 5kg.
