Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility:
- These replacement blades are *exclusively* compatible with the Knipex 90 22 10 BK pipe cutter.
- They are *not* compatible with other Knipex pipe cutter models or pipe cutters from different brands.
Setup (Blade Replacement):
- Safety First: Ensure the pipe cutter is clean and free of debris. Wear protective gloves to handle the sharp blades.
- Access Blades: Open the pipe cutter fully to expose the blade mechanism.
- Remove Old Blade: Carefully loosen and remove the screw or retention mechanism holding the old blade. Dispose of the old blade safely.
- Install New Blade: Place a new Knipex 90 22 10 E01 blade into the cutting head, ensuring it is oriented correctly for cutting.
- Secure Blade: Re-insert and tighten the screw or retention mechanism. Ensure the blade is held firmly but can still rotate freely as needed.
- Test: Gently test the cutter on a scrap piece of pipe to ensure smooth operation and a clean cut.
Care:
- Keep the blades clean and dry when not in use to prevent corrosion.
- Store the pipe cutter with its blades retracted or protected to avoid accidental damage or injury.
- Periodically check the blade for any signs of damage or excessive wear.
