The Crystal uPVC double-glazed window is an ideal choice for homeowners seeking a durable, energy-efficient solution for bathrooms, toilets, or street-facing rooms where privacy is essential. Featuring an A-rated energy efficiency profile and robust security hardware, this unit combines thermal performance with ease of use, though its obscure glazing makes it unsuitable for applications where clear visibility or light transmission are the primary requirements.

No, the obscure glazing is integrated into the sealed double-glazed unit during manufacturing and cannot be swapped out individually.
Yes, a white handle is included in the package.
This is a measure of thermal conductivity; a lower number indicates better insulation. 1.4 is an excellent rating for energy-efficient windows.
The cill is a separate component included in the package, allowing you to install it based on your wall thickness and internal finish requirements.
The night vent is accessed by turning the handle to a specific position that allows the window to remain locked while slightly ajar for minimal ventilation.
Check that the locking points are fully engaging in the keep plates. Adjust the compression cams if necessary.
Ensure the hinges are free of debris and apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the moving parts of the espag mechanism.
If moisture appears between the panes, the seal of the unit has failed. Contact the supplier for warranty or replacement options.
The Crystal uPVC window measures 1115mm by 610mm, with the height dimension inclusive of the provided PVC cill. Before installation, ensure the aperture is properly leveled and square to allow the espag locking system to engage smoothly. During installation, use the provided glazing packers to ensure the unit is correctly positioned within the frame, which prevents sagging and ensures the seal remains airtight. For ongoing care, clean the uPVC frame with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, avoiding abrasive chemicals that can scratch the finish. Lubricate the metal locking points and hinges annually with a light silicone spray to maintain smooth operation.
