This miniature Veritas low angle block plane is about a third the size of the original, measuring just under 60mm long and 19mm wide. Its compact size makes it ideal for small-scale work or intricate tasks where a larger plane would be difficult to handle. The plane features a low 12° bed angle combined with a 25° blade bevel, resulting in a cutting angle of 37°, which is also suitable for cutting end grain. It is equipped with a stainless steel Norris-style adjuster for precise setting of the 12.7mm wide A2 tool steel blade. The body is constructed from investment-cast stainless steel with a fixed mouth, machined sides, and a ground sole. The plane weighs 48g and is proudly made in Canada. It comes supplied in a French-fitted, embossed leatherette box.
