Professional quality combination pliers, tested to 10,000V and insulated to 1000V AC and 1500V DC for live line working. Manufactured from special tool steel, oil hardened and tempered with smoothly ground chrome plated heads. Cutting edges are separately induction hardened to 60HRC for cutting medium-hard and hard wire. Features heavy 'S' Range plastic dipped insulated handles with slip guards for extra comfort and safety. Suitable for versatile use with gripping zones for flat and round material, and cutting edges for soft and hard wire. Long cutting edges are ideal for thicker cables. Cutting capacities include medium hard wire (diameter): Ø 3.4mm, hard wire (diameter): Ø 2.2mm, copper cable (multiple-stranded): Ø 12.0mm / 16.0mm². VDE tested.
