Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
The Belling ComfortCook Induction Hob is designed for built-in installation. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct electrical connections and secure fitting into your countertop. Ensure the cutout dimensions match the hob's specifications before installation.
Compatibility:
- Cookware: Only induction-compatible cookware is compatible with this hob. Check the cookware's base for an induction symbol or test with a magnet; if a magnet sticks to the bottom, it's induction-ready.
- Power: Ensure your electrical supply meets the hob's power requirements (7400 W). Consult a qualified electrician if needed.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the Schott Ceran® glass surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Spills: Clean spills immediately to prevent them from burning onto the surface. Use a scraper designed for glass cooktops for stubborn residues.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect the hob for any signs of damage. Contact customer service for assistance if needed.
