These are designed specifically for the KnitPro system; while some other brands may fit, we recommend using official KnitPro cables for the best performance and warranty support.
Use the KnitPro tightening key to firmly secure the cable to the tip. Ensure the cable is fully rotated into the housing.
Check that the join is fully tightened and that no yarn fibers are trapped in the threads. Ensure you are using a cable of the correct size category.
To begin using your Zing tips, simply screw the needle onto your chosen KnitPro cable. It is recommended to use the provided metal tightening key through the small hole in the cable end to ensure the join is locked securely; this prevents the needle from unscrewing during use. These tips are fully compatible with all KnitPro cables. To care for your needles, store them in a dry place to prevent moisture accumulation. If the surface accumulates oil from your hands, simply wipe the tips with a soft, dry cloth to maintain their signature glide. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges, as these can dull the anodized color finish.
