The Manfrotto MH057A5-LONG is an advanced panoramic photography head built around the 300N pan rotation unit. It features sliding plates for precise nodal point positioning and an elbow bracket that allows the camera to be mounted in either portrait or landscape orientation. The micro-positioning plates offer extremely precise fingertip adjustment via a gear drive system. A release button disengages the gear drive, facilitating rapid movement of the plates when needed. The plates are longer than those of the 303 head, making this head suitable for larger traditional or digital SLR cameras with standard or wide-angle lenses, as well as medium format cameras. The adjusting plates can be precisely adjusted via a precision gear, allowing for extremely accurate camera adjustment on the nodal point.
