The Dermalogica Deep Breakout Liquid Patch is an ideal solution for individuals seeking a discreet, targeted treatment for active blemishes and breakout-prone skin. Its standout benefit is the innovative liquid-to-patch technology that creates a protective barrier, helping to clear existing spots while fading post-breakout marks. While highly effective at soothing inflammation, users should note that the sulfur-based formula requires a consistent routine and may not be suitable for those with known sulfur allergies.

Yes, once the liquid has fully dried into a film, you can gently apply makeup over the top without disrupting the seal.
While it is formulated to be soothing with niacinamide, those with sensitive skin should perform a patch test first, especially due to the sulfur content.
You can apply it as needed to active breakouts, typically once or twice daily after cleansing.
It is specifically designed for deep, inflammatory breakouts; it may not be as effective for non-inflammatory congestion like blackheads.
The product dries into a clear film, but allow it to set completely before it touches fabric to avoid any potential transfer.
Yes, this product is formulated to be safe for use during pregnancy.
Ensure the skin is completely clean and free of heavy oils or creams before application; avoid rubbing the area once the film has dried.
You may be applying too much product; use a thinner, more precise layer directly on the spot to ensure it dries clear.
To use, apply a small amount of the liquid directly onto the affected area using the applicator. Allow the product to dry for 30-60 seconds until the film has set. Because it forms a semi-permeable barrier, it works best when applied over cleansed skin. Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the sulfur suspension. The duo pack ensures you always have a backup, but keep the caps tightened securely to prevent the liquid from evaporating or hardening inside the tube.
