Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, ensure your wall substrate is clean, dry, and capable of supporting the weight of the stone panels. Use a high-quality, flexible tile adhesive recommended for natural slate to allow for minor movement. When cutting the panels, utilize an angle grinder with a diamond blade for the cleanest edges. For long-term care, seal the slate with a stone-specific sealer to prevent staining and maintain the depth of the black color. Regularly hose down outdoor installations with water to remove dust or debris, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the natural stone finish.
