Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Connecting the Computers:
- Connect a VGA cable from each computer to the VGA input ports on the rear of the KVM switch.
- Connect a USB cable (Type A to Type B) from each computer to the USB input ports on the rear of the KVM switch.
- Connecting Peripherals:
- Connect your keyboard and mouse to the USB ports on the front of the KVM switch.
- Connect your monitor to the VGA output port on the KVM switch.
- Powering On:
- Connect the power adapter to the KVM switch and plug it into a power outlet.
- Power on all connected computers.
- Selecting Computers:
- Use the buttons on the front panel to select the computer you want to control.
Compatibility:
The SV431USB is compatible with most operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Ensure that your computers have VGA and USB ports for connection.
Care:
- Keep the KVM switch in a clean, dry environment.
- Do not block the ventilation holes.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
