Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your walls are clean, dry, and free from old wallpaper or loose paint. Fill any cracks or holes and sand smooth.
- Apply wallpaper adhesive directly to the wall using a roller or brush, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Hang the first strip vertically, ensuring it is straight using a spirit level.
- Butt the edges of subsequent strips together, aligning the 32cm offset pattern repeat carefully.
- Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles with a wallpaper brush or smoothing tool, working from the center outwards.
- Trim any excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board with a sharp knife.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for most interior walls, including plaster, drywall, and previously wallpapered surfaces (ensure the old wallpaper is sound and suitable for overlaying).
Care:
- Classification: Washable: Light marks can be wiped away with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid excessive rubbing or harsh detergents.
- Good Lightfastness: The colors are designed to resist fading from normal daylight exposure.
- Wet Removable: For eventual removal, the wallpaper can be softened with water, facilitating easier stripping from the wall.
