Fragrant tulips are a rare delight, and this collection brings together some of the most aromatic varieties in a stunning array of shapes and colours. Ideal for patio containers or the edges of borders, these tulips offer their delightful scent up close. They also make fantastic cut flowers, filling your home with their fragrance and vibrant hues. Supplied as bulbs. The Tulip ‘Super Scented Collection’ includes: Tulip ‘Angelique’: A peony-type tulip featuring two to three blooms per stem. Starts as creamy green buds and opens to soft blush pink. Flowers late April to early May. Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 20cm (8in). Tulip ‘Ballerina’: A lily-flowered variety with orange petals tinged with pink. Flowers late April to early May. Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 15cm (6in). Tulip ‘Secret Perfume’: A peony-flowered tulip with voluptuous golden blooms and a surprisingly delightful scent. Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 20cm (8in). Tulip ‘Verona’: A double early tulip with creamy yellow blooms. Flowers in April. Height: 35cm (14in). Spread: 10cm (4in). Growing Information: Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. They thrive in moist, well-drained soil, except for very wet conditions. Select a sunny location sheltered from strong winds. For optimal flowering, avoid shallow planting as it may reduce the essential winter cold period. Plant bulbs at a depth of 15cm (6") and spaced 13cm (5") apart.
