Setup, Compatibility & Care
Application:
- Preparation: Ensure the fabric area is clean, dry, and free of wrinkles. Place the patch (ironing side down if using iron-on) on the desired location.
- Iron-On Method: Set your iron to a cotton setting (no steam). Place a cloth or parchment paper over the patch. Press the iron firmly on the patch for approximately 10-15 seconds. Allow to cool completely before testing adhesion.
- Sewing Method: Use the pre-punched holes as guides. Thread a needle with strong thread and stitch around the edges of the patch. A running stitch or a backstitch will provide secure attachment.
Compatibility:
These patches are best suited for woven fabrics such as cotton, denim, canvas, and linen. They may not adhere effectively to very thin, synthetic, or highly stretchy materials like lycra or certain knits.
Care:
- Washable up to 40°C.
- Do not bleach.
- Iron on the reverse side if necessary.
- Avoid high-temperature drying to maintain adhesion and fabric integrity.
