It is easy to deploy and manage, making it suitable for conference rooms, huddle rooms, lounges, and lobbies to create productive meeting environments. The receiver can be placed discreetly near a display, offering AirMedia wireless presentation capabilities, an HDMI output supporting up to 4K resolution, and various USB interfaces for wireless conferencing and touch interactivity. Users can connect laptops, smartphones, tablets, or the AirMedia Connect adapter to instantly present content. Content can be wirelessly presented from laptops, smartphones, and tablets via built-in Wi-Fi or an external network. Desktop and laptop users can present using downloadable client software, the AirMedia Chrome extension, or Miracast screen mirroring. Android and iOS devices can utilize the AirMedia app. The AirMedia Canvas feature allows for simultaneous presentation of multiple sources, with initial support for two sources, and more planned via a future software license. The layout automatically optimizes based on the number of presenters, source types, and aspect ratios. Source management and positioning can be controlled via the AirMedia app or a connected touch screen. When no source is active, the AM-3100-WF-I displays a customizable welcome screen with connection instructions. Integration with Microsoft Exchange, Google Calendar, or Crestron Fusion enables on-screen display of space availability and meeting details, along with notifications for time remaining and upcoming events. Emergency or important announcements can also be displayed via pop-up messages from Crestron Fusion. Optional control is available through Crestron TS- or TSW- 70 series touch screens, providing schedule views, meeting details, input selection, display power, and volume controls. An optional Power over Ethernet occupancy sensor can manage display power based on room occupancy. The AM-3100-WF-I supports the XiO Cloud service for easy deployment and management of devices, including system alerts and network provisioning. Native Appspace functionality allows for the display of digital signage content when the room is unoccupied or no presentation is active. Crestron Fusion integration enables central monitoring and management, with occupancy sensors reporting room status, controlling display power, and managing booking availability. Alerts notify help desks of issues to maximize uptime. The system offers enterprise-grade security through standard network protocols like 802.1x, Active Directory authentication, and AES content encryption, ensuring privacy and compliance with IT policies. Future compatibility with the AirMedia Presentation Adapter (AM-TX3-100-I) will provide an alternative connection method via USB-C.
