No, this specific model is designed exclusively for concealed toilet cisterns.
No, this kit includes the lever handle and the necessary mounting hardware; it does not include the internal valve mechanism.
Because it is made of solid brass, the base material is highly resistant to rust. Regular wiping will keep the polished finish looking new.
The installation is straightforward, but it does involve opening the cistern. If you are uncomfortable handling water valves, a professional plumber is recommended.
Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Never use abrasive cleaners or bleach on the finish.
Ensure the locking nut inside the cistern is tightened securely against the internal wall of the tank.
Check that the internal arm is properly connected to the flush valve chain or linkage and that it is not obstructed by the cistern walls.
Installation requires basic household tools like an adjustable wrench and screwdriver. Before purchasing, verify that your concealed cistern supports a side-mount lever arm. To install, first shut off the water supply to the toilet and flush to clear the tank. Unscrew the existing lever nut from inside the cistern, remove the old assembly, and insert the new brass lever through the aperture. Secure it using the provided washers and locknut. Do not overtighten, as this may strip the threading. To maintain the finish, simply wipe the lever with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh acidic cleaners, which may degrade the polished silver coating.
