The Hispec HSSA/HE is a high-quality mains heat alarm featuring a fixed temperature, fast-response thermistor type sensor with a range of 54°C - 62°C. It includes an alkaline battery for backup, which is pre-connected to minimize installation errors. The alarm has a hush button for false alarm control and can interconnect with other EI Professional mains-powered smoke and heat alarms. It's ideal for kitchens and garages, automatically resetting after activation with a latching LED to identify the initiating alarm. The unique fast-fit system with a separate base plate allows for fitting after construction and removal for maintenance. It features an integral, double-decker screwless terminal block for quick, push-fit connections. The backup cells provide up to 6 months of continuous operation during mains failure. Key features include separate mains and warning LEDs, a time and money-saving Easi-fit design, a 30-day low battery warning indicator, and separate Hush & Test buttons. Green and Red LEDs indicate alarm status. It can be integrated into existing Slick or Firex installations. It uses a 9V alkaline battery backup and is interconnectable with other Ei mains-powered alarms.
