It provides a 135mm maximum depth of cut and features a strong, welded, and braced steel frame. The generously sized cast iron table includes a steel plate rear extension, and widely spaced mounting trunnions offer extra table support and smooth tilting. A standard 19mm mitre fence slot is included, and the rip fence cam-locks solidly to the front rail, allowing for accurate adjustment to the blade. Twin scales enable the fence to be used on either side of the blade. The bandsaw is equipped with ball bearing side and thrust guides for excellent support and easy setup, which maintain their position unless the blade width is changed. A rack and pinion system adjusts the upper blade guide height. Dust extraction is managed through two ports, one near the bottom guides and another in the lower wheel cabinet, with an interconnecting hose leading to a single 63mm connection port for a vacuum extractor. Twin blade speeds offer job flexibility, and a powerful, quiet, and reliable induction motor with a multi-V belt drives the bandsaw. It is supplied with a steel leg stand with rubber feet and a UK-made blade (10mm x 6 TPI Skip Tooth), making it ideal for most home workshops.
