The Ubiquiti LTU-PRO is a 5 GHz subscriber station featuring an integrated 24 dBi dish antenna. It functions as a CPE in a Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) environment when paired with the LTU Rocket as the basestation. This device leverages Ubiquiti's proprietary LTU technology, surpassing the limitations of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi. Its custom LTU silicon and radio architecture deliver over 600+ Mbps of real TCP/IP throughput and modulation rates up to 4096QAM. The LTU-PRO supports both bridged and built-in hardware NAT router modes, offering flexibility for various deployment scenarios. Its robust pole mount design includes a built-in mechanical tilt for ±15° elevation adjustments. Channel width flexibility allows independent TX and RX channel frequency configurations to avoid interference, with auto power adjustments for optimal output power. Signal control allows the AP to manage TX output power for network stability and modulation performance. Configuration can be done via the LTU Configuration Interface or Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS™). The LTU Configuration Interface includes a PtMP Dashboard with map and Fresnel views for network visualization, and real-time spectral analysis capabilities via airView®.
