Homeofchrome Chrome 1/2" End Cap

This Homeofchrome End Cap is designed specifically for 1/2 inch threaded shower outlets.

It is highly recommended to use plumber's tape (PTFE tape) on the threads of the shower outlet before installing the end cap to ensure a watertight seal.

While it fits 1/2" threads, it is designed for the conditions of a shower outlet. For other plumbing applications, ensure compatibility with your specific system requirements.

Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive materials or chemicals that can damage the finish.

The product weighs approximately 0.044 pounds.

It is a plug stopper specifically for 1/2" threaded outlets, not a universal fit for all types of plumbing connections.

The product description indicates it has a chrome finish, suggesting a metal core, though the base material is not explicitly stated beyond the finish.

Ensure the end cap is tightened securely. Check if plumber's tape was used on the threads and apply or reapply if necessary. Verify that the outlet thread is indeed 1/2" and compatible.

Confirm that the outlet has a 1/2" thread. Ensure there is no debris or damage to the threads on both the outlet and the end cap. Try turning counter-clockwise first to ensure it's not cross-threading.

Clean the end cap with a mild soap and water solution using a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Ensure all cleaning residue is rinsed off and the cap is dried thoroughly.
