The Sealey AK7162 is a professional-grade set of nine long security TRX-Star keys designed for automotive and mechanical technicians who require extended reach for recessed security-torx fasteners. Built from heat-treated, hardened steel with a satin chrome finish, this set ensures durability and corrosion resistance under daily workshop conditions; however, users should be aware that the extended length can lead to excessive torque application if not handled carefully, potentially risking bolt head damage.

Verify that you are using the correct size. If the bolt is stripped, use a slightly larger extractor tool or manual persuasion as these keys are for standard fastener turnings.
Clean the affected area with a fine-grit abrasive pad and wipe with a light machine oil to protect the satin chrome finish.
These keys are compatible with all standard security-type TRX-Star fasteners (often referred to as Torx Tamper-Proof). To ensure a long service life, wipe the keys down with a clean, lint-free cloth after use to remove any corrosive workshop chemicals or metal dust. Store the keys inside the provided case when not in use to avoid losing individual sizes. Inspect the tips regularly for signs of wear or cracking. If a key is dropped on a hard concrete floor, check it for micro-fractures before applying high torque to prevent unexpected snapping.
