Troubleshooting
The breakout dial feels stiff or does not open the door.
Check the internal gear assembly to ensure no blocks are obstructing the movement and that pieces are snapped fully into place.
SMART sounds or lights are not triggering.
Verify that your SMART Bricks are powered and that the SMART Tag on the lab base is positioned correctly to interface with the bricks.
Mewtwo figure joints feel loose.
Check that the friction pins in the limbs are fully inserted; ensure no debris is stuck in the ball-and-socket joints.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Highly poseable figure allows for versatile display options
- Engaging interactive breakout mechanism
- Integrates with other SMART-enabled sets for expanded play
- Detailed design captures the essence of the Pokémon laboratory
- Substantial height for a display-ready figure
Cons
- SMART light and sound features require additional separate purchases
- Requires careful assembly of the breakout dial mechanism
- Higher piece count may be challenging for younger children
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly should be performed on a flat, well-lit surface to ensure all 605 pieces are properly accounted for. When building the breakout mechanism, ensure the gears are aligned correctly to prevent jamming during the activation dial rotation. The set is fully compatible with existing SMART Bricks from other series. To keep the set in prime condition, dust the figure and base regularly using a soft, dry cloth or a fine-bristle brush. Avoid using harsh chemicals or water, as this may affect the integrity of the SMART Tag components.
