Setup
- Choose a level surface in a location with adequate sunlight.
- Assemble the bed according to the included instructions. No tools are needed.
- Place landscape fabric at the base of the bed (optional but recommended) before adding soil.
- Fill with a mix of potting soil and compost.
Compatibility
This raised garden bed is compatible with a wide variety of plants, especially those that thrive in well-draining soil. It is best suited for medium to deep-rooting vegetables. Consider the mature size of your plants to ensure they fit comfortably within the bed.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe down the steel frame with a damp cloth as needed.
- Soil: Replenish the soil annually with fresh compost and nutrients.
- Inspection: Regularly check for any signs of rust or damage and address them promptly. Use a rust-resistant spray if needed.
- Winter Storage: If you live in an area with harsh winters, consider emptying the bed and storing it in a sheltered location to prolong its life.
