The Makita DHK180 is a cordless SDS-PLUS power scraper powered by a single 18v LXT lithium-ion battery. It's a versatile tool designed for scraping tile removal. It features a variable impact speed of 0 -3,200ipm and has a variable speed dial for precise adjustment of scraping power. Designed with Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT), the motor house is separated from the handle to reduce the vibration transferred to the user for more comfortable safe operation. The DHK180 is powered by a heavy duty brushless motor providing up to 3.1j of impact energy with power equal to that of 240V equivalents. This model comes supplied with 2 x 5.0Ah Li-ion batteries, a charger, and a Makpac case. Features: 3.1 J impact energy per stroke, SDS-Plus shank, Variable speed controlled by trigger and dial, constant speed control, LED job light to illuminate the work area, Anti-vibration housing and AVT for reduction of operator fatigue, Slide lever for trigger lock-on and lock-off, 12 bit angle settings, One touch sliding chuck, Battery protection circuit. The brushless BL Motor provides up to 3.1j of impact energy, comparable to corded models, with the added convenience of cordless versatility. eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) maximises protection against dust, debris and liquids for optimal performance in extreme conditions. Variable speed dial and trigger allows operator to adjust speed based on materials or application. Constant speed control maintains constant speed under heavy load. One-touch sliding SDS-PLUS chuck for easy bit installation and removal. Slide style lock-on / lock-off switch ideal for use in prolonged scraping applications and provides added safety when not immediately in use. 12 Angle bit positions enable chisels to be positioned at optimal angle of operation. Dual LED job light with pre-glow and after-glow features illuminates work area. Retractable sky hook allows tool to be hung on ladders, pipes, scaffolding and. Not compatible with G-Series batteries.
