Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Proper lacing is crucial for trail running shoes. Ensure the laces are snug but not too tight, allowing for natural foot expansion during long runs. If you experience heel slip, consider using a 'heel lock' lacing technique. Always try on the shoes with the type of running socks you typically wear to ensure an optimal and comfortable fit.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed for a wide range of trail conditions, from soft dirt paths to rocky, technical terrain. They are compatible with various trail running activities, including long-distance runs, speed work, and hiking on uneven ground. While versatile, for extremely muddy conditions or deep snow, specialized footwear might be more appropriate.
Care
To extend the life of your trail runners, brush off loose dirt and mud promptly after each run. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and cold water, gently scrubbing visible dirt, then allow them to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Remove insoles to facilitate thorough drying. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can potentially damage the materials and adhesives.
