The BirdDog 4K HDMI Encoder/Decoder is a powerful NDI tool designed for PTZ systems. It supports UHD 4Kp60 video input and distribution over NDI networks with full-bandwidth I-frame compression. This compact device features a durable aluminum case, an HDMI 2.0 input, and HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI outputs. An integrated cross-converter allows for looping HDMI input via the 12G-SDI output. It also includes BirdDog Comms Lite audio intercom software, supporting up to four BirdDog devices and offering features like director push-to-talk and mute camera operator. Built with BirdDog's custom NDI silicon chip, it offers 12G SDI and HDMI 2.0 connections, SFP+ for 10GbE connectivity, active loop outs, and NDI tally. It supports adaptive bit rates for flexible bandwidth usage and is compatible with BirdDog Comms Pro and Central Pro apps.
