The Gardner Standard Sausage Gun is an ideal tool for carp anglers and home bait makers who require a reliable, entry-level solution for small-scale production. It simplifies the process of creating consistent, perfectly sized bait sausages for use with Longbase Rollaballs and Baitmaster Tables. While highly efficient for light to medium consistency mixes, users should note that this model is specifically engineered for occasional use and may require manual effort with very dense or heavy bait formulations.

This gun is designed for light to medium consistency mixes. Very hard or dense mixes may be difficult to extrude and could strain the manual mechanism.
Select the nozzle based on the diameter of your bait table. You can trim the plastic nozzles to increase the diameter if the paste flow is restricted.
It is recommended to wash the components by hand in warm soapy water to protect the plastic integrity and moving parts.
The nozzles control the output diameter of the bait paste, allowing you to create uniform sausages that fit perfectly into your bait rolling table.
The gun comes with 8 nozzles, which are usually sufficient for all standard home bait-making needs.
Your bait mix may be too stiff. Add a small amount of liquid binder or water to soften the paste, or trim the nozzle tip to provide a wider opening.
Ensure consistent pressure on the trigger and verify that the paste has no air pockets inside the cartridge.
Check the plunger teeth for any dried bait residue and clean the rod thoroughly.
To set up the gun, first ensure the plunger is fully retracted by pressing the release trigger. Fill the 300ml chamber with your prepared boilie paste, then reinsert the plunger assembly. Choose a nozzle based on your bait size requirements; if the extrusion feels too difficult, trim the tip of the nozzle to increase flow. Compatibility is guaranteed with Gardner's range of Longbase Rollaballs and Baitmaster Tables. To care for your tool, disassemble the unit immediately after use and wash all components with warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before storage to maintain the integrity of the trigger mechanism and internal seals.
