Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure the threads on both your air hose and the tool are clean and free of debris. Use a small amount of PTFE (plumber's) tape around the male threads to provide a secondary seal against air leaks. When tightening, use the appropriate wrench size to secure the union; avoid over-tightening to prevent stripping the threads. For care, regularly inspect the couplings for signs of wear or corrosion. If you notice a drop in tool performance, check the couplings first for any accumulation of dirt that might restrict airflow. Store unused units in a cool, dry place to prevent oxidation.
