Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the clamp, strip the end of your welding cable to expose the copper conductor and insert it fully into the cable entry port. Tighten the two grub screws evenly using an appropriate hex key until the cable is firmly locked in place. Regularly inspect the bronze jaw for weld splatter or oxidation, which can be removed with a wire brush to maintain a clean electrical path. Ensure the rubber insulation remains intact; if cracked or frayed, replace the handle grips immediately to maintain safety standards.
