Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the water supply is turned off before installation.
- Apply Teflon tape (not included) to the male threads of the water supply pipe.
- Screw the shower arm inlet into the water supply pipe, hand-tightening first, then using a wrench for a snug fit.
- If mounting on the ceiling, use the included flange and appropriate mounting hardware (not included).
- Attach your desired showerhead to the shower arm outlet, using Teflon tape if necessary.
- Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.
Compatibility:
The shower arm features standard 1/2 NPT male threads for both inlet and outlet, making it compatible with most standard showerheads, handheld shower wands, and other shower fixtures. Always double-check the thread size of your existing connections and the showerhead you intend to use.
Care:
Clean the shower arm with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the premium coating. For stubborn spots, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing and drying.
