The nipper is designed to cut tiles up to 6mm (1/4") thick.
This nipper is suitable for use on ceramic and porcelain tiles.
Make multiple small cuts to shape the tile, gradually removing material to achieve the desired curve.
Wipe the cutting edges clean after each use and store the nipper in a dry place.
Ensure you are scoring the tile before nipping and applying even pressure. Also, make sure you are not exceeding the nipper's maximum tile thickness.
This nipper is not specifically designed for glass tiles, and results may vary. Proceed with caution.
Ensure you are using the nipper on tiles within the specified thickness. Apply even pressure and consider scoring the tile first.
Make sure the cutting edges are clean and free of any debris. Practice the cutting technique on scrap tiles to improve accuracy.
Check for any obstructions or debris in the spring mechanism. Apply a light lubricant if needed.
No setup is required. The Amtech S4435 Tile Nipper is ready to use. Ensure the tile is clean and free of debris before cutting. Compatibility is limited to tiles up to 6mm (1/4") thick. After each use, wipe the cutting edges clean. Store the nipper in a dry place to prevent rust. Avoid dropping the nipper to prevent damage to the cutting edges.
