Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the surface to be taped is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Unroll the tape and press it down firmly along the edge you wish to protect. Overlap strips slightly if covering a large area. For best results, apply the tape just before you begin painting.
Compatibility: This tape is generally compatible with most common interior painting surfaces, including painted walls, metal, glass, and wood. It is not recommended for use on wallpaper, freshly painted surfaces (allow paint to cure fully, typically 24-48 hours), or extremely delicate or porous materials. Always test on a small, hidden area first if unsure.
Care: Store the tape in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After use, remove the tape slowly and at an angle once the paint is dry to the touch but not fully cured. This helps prevent the paint from peeling away with the tape. If paint has fully cured, you may need to score the edge lightly with a utility knife before removing the tape.
