Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation is straightforward due to the self-tapping design. For the best results, follow these guidelines:
- Preparation: Identify the mounting point. If using hardwood, it is highly recommended to drill a small pilot hole smaller than the screw diameter to prevent the wood from cracking.
- Installation: Grip the eyelet firmly or use a tool like a screwdriver through the eye to provide leverage while turning the screw clockwise into the wood.
- Compatibility: These are intended for use with wooden surfaces. They are not compatible with metal, drywall, or stone unless used in conjunction with a proper wall anchor.
- Care: While the stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, wipe the hooks clean with a damp cloth if they accumulate dust or grime to maintain their silver finish.
