The Alphablocks Jigword is designed for preschool and early elementary children who are beginning their journey into literacy. Its primary benefit is the combination of tactile jigsaw play with phonics-based character recognition, helping children master letters and basic spelling. While it provides excellent screen-free engagement, parents should note that it requires adult supervision for younger children to ensure the 26 cardboard pieces are not misplaced or damaged during play.

It is ideal for children aged 3 to 6 who are in the early stages of learning the alphabet and beginning to understand phonetic sounds.
Yes, once a child recognizes the letters, you can use the pieces to physically assemble simple words.
The set includes 26 pieces, representing each letter of the alphabet.
Many children find the character personalities help them associate a 'persona' with a sound, which can aid memory retention for difficult letters.
The product is designed for educational use; however, small pieces should be kept away from children who still put items in their mouths.
No, do not submerge in water. Only use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the puzzle pieces.
Ensure the surface is completely flat and check that no debris or small objects are caught between the puzzle teeth.
Always store the pieces in a designated container or the original box immediately after the learning session to prevent loss.
Avoid bending the pieces forcefully. If fraying occurs, handle the pieces with extra care to prevent further degradation of the cardboard layers.
To begin, ensure you have a clean, flat surface like a table or a carpeted floor. There is no complex setup required; simply layout the pieces and allow the child to explore. To maintain the puzzle, keep it in a cool, dry area to prevent the cardboard from warping. After each use, check that all 26 pieces are accounted for to ensure future spelling exercises remain complete. If a piece becomes sticky or dusty, use a dry cloth to gently wipe the surface; do not use water or liquid cleaners, as these will damage the printed cardboard finish.
