Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
Setting up your Kosy Koala Dining Set is designed to be straightforward. All necessary hardware and a detailed instruction manual are included.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out and cross-reference with the parts list in the manual to ensure everything is present.
- Assemble Table Frame: Attach the table legs to the table top using the provided screws and tools. Ensure all connections are tightened securely, but do not overtighten initially.
- Assemble Chairs: For each chair, attach the seat to the backrest, and then connect the legs. Pay close attention to the orientation of the legs to ensure stability. Tighten all screws firmly.
- Final Tightening: Once the table and all chairs are assembled, gently rock each piece to identify any wobbles. Adjust leg levelers if present, or retighten screws evenly until stable.
- Placement: Position your dining set on a level surface. Consider using felt pads under the table and chair legs to protect your flooring.

Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and beauty of your dining set.
- Table Care (MDF with Melamine Finish):
- Wipe regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher spills, use a mild soap solution.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the melamine finish.
- Always use placemats and coasters to protect the surface from hot dishes, spills, and scratches.
- Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining.
- Chair Care (Velvet Upholstery & Metal Legs):
- Velvet: Regularly vacuum the chairs using an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub. For stubborn stains, consult a professional upholstery cleaner or use a velvet-specific cleaning product following its instructions.
- Metal Legs: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that could corrode or discolor the metal.
- General Maintenance: Periodically check and tighten all screws on both the table and chairs to maintain stability.
