It's a quick and easy alternative to slabs or poured concrete, and it also raises the shed to help prevent water splashback. The base is robust and long-lasting, with deep incisions allowing pressure treatment preservative to penetrate the timber, protecting it from rot and making it suitable for ground contact. Building the base involves screwing the timber sections together with the provided screws. It should be laid on level ground or propped on uneven ground. While building a shed directly on dirt or grass is not recommended, this shed base makes it possible with a suitable heavy-duty weed membrane underneath. Guaranteed for 15 years against rot.
