Sandtex Trade Quick Dry Stabilising Solution - Clear - 5L

The solution is ready for recoating in approximately 4 hours under normal conditions (20°C and 65% relative humidity). Drying times may vary depending on weather conditions.

Avoid applying the solution if the air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8°C or if the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.

It is suitable for most exterior masonry surfaces and exterior-grade building boards, but not bitumen coatings or Fletton brickwork.

Store in a cool, dry place and keep the container tightly sealed when not in use to prevent it from drying out.

Avoid applying the solution if there is a risk of rain. If rain occurs shortly after application, the solution may not perform as intended, and you may need to reapply after the surface has thoroughly dried.

Clean brushes and rollers with water immediately after use.

Sanding is generally not necessary, but ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of loose debris before application for optimal results.

This solution is specifically designed for exterior masonry surfaces, and its use on interior surfaces is not recommended.

Ensure that the stabilising solution was applied evenly and that the surface was completely dry before painting. Check the compatibility of the paint with the stabilising solution.

Ensure the surface is free of any sealers or coatings that might be preventing penetration. Re-apply the solution, ensuring thorough saturation of the surface.

Apply the solution in a thin, even coat. Avoid overloading the brush or roller. Wipe up any drips immediately.
