FAQs

Does this protector meet competition standards?

It is certified to EN 1621-2:2014. Please check with your specific equestrian governing body to ensure it complies with the requirements for your event.

Can I wear this under my riding jacket?

Yes, the low-profile design allows it to be worn comfortably under most standard riding jackets.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your torso length and waist circumference. Refer to the manufacturer's size chart to find the fit that covers your entire spine without interfering with the saddle.

Is the P07 waterproof?

The material is designed to be durable, but it is not a waterproof garment. It should be kept dry to maintain the performance of the internal padding.

How often should I replace the protector?

It is recommended to replace the protector after any significant impact or if the materials show signs of wear, such as cracking or loss of elasticity.

Troubleshooting

Protector feels too restrictive

Adjust the straps for a snug but non-restrictive fit. If the unit remains uncomfortable, verify you are wearing the correct size.

The unit shifts during movement

Ensure the waist and shoulder adjustments are tightened properly so the protector remains flush against the back.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure maximum protection, the Swing P07 should be worn snugly against the torso, ideally over a thin base layer to prevent chafing. Ensure that the back protector aligns correctly with your spinal column and sits comfortably above the saddle. For care, wipe down the exterior surface with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat or dirt. Do not machine wash or submerge the protector in water, as this may degrade the impact-absorbing materials. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use to preserve the integrity of the protective foams.
