Setup

1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Check for any damage during transit.
2. Placement: Choose a level surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources (e.g., ovens, radiators). Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit – generally, a few inches of clearance on the sides and back is recommended for efficient operation.
3. Leveling: Use the adjustable feet at the bottom of the fridge to ensure it is perfectly level. This prevents excessive noise and helps the door seal properly.
4. Reversible Door (Optional): If desired, you can change the door's opening direction. This typically involves unscrewing hinges and reinstalling them on the opposite side. Refer to the specific instructions in your user manual.
5. Initial Power-On: After placing and leveling, wait at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle, preventing potential damage. Set the thermostat to your desired temperature.
