The Kingston IronKey Locker+ 50 USB flash drive offers robust consumer-grade security with AES 256-bit hardware-encryption in XTS mode. It includes advanced safeguards against BadUSB with digitally-signed firmware and protection against brute force password attacks. The LP50 is also TAA compliant. This drive features FIPS 197 certified XTS-AES 256-bit encryption for data protection and includes an automatic USB to Cloud backup functionality. It supports a multi-password option with Admin and User roles, offering both Complex mode (6-16 characters using 3 out of 4 character sets) and a new Passphrase mode (10-64 characters using numeric PINs, words, or lyrics). The Admin can enable or reset the User password, ensuring data accessibility. For enhanced user experience, an 'eye' symbol can reveal the typed password to minimize typos and failed login attempts. Protection against brute force attacks includes lockout after 10 invalid User password entries and crypto-erasure of the drive after 10 incorrect Admin password entries. A built-in virtual keyboard further shields passwords from keyloggers and screenloggers. The Locker+ 50 boasts a durable small metal casing with a built-in key loop for portability. It also features optional USB to Cloud backup (by ClevX), allowing access to data from personal cloud storage services like Google Drive, OneDrive, Amazon Cloud Drive, Dropbox, or Box. The drive is designed for easy setup and use with no application installation required, as all software and security features are integrated. It is compatible with both Windows and macOS operating systems, enabling access to files across multiple systems.
