Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the microwave is placed on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation (at least 7.5cm clearance on sides and rear, 20cm on top).
- Remove all packaging materials from the interior and exterior.
- Plug the microwave into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Set the clock if desired by following the on-screen prompts or manual instructions.
Compatibility:
This microwave is compatible with standard microwave-safe cookware, including glass, ceramic, and microwave-safe plastics. Metal cookware, foil, or dishes with metallic trim should *not* be used in the microwave. Check cookware for 'microwave safe' labels.
Care:
- Interior: Wipe down the interior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use, especially after cooking splattering foods. The flatbed design makes cleaning simpler as there is no turntable to remove.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the finish.
- Door and Seal: Ensure the door seal is kept clean and free from debris to maintain efficient operation.
- Ventilation Grills: Periodically check and clean the ventilation grills to prevent dust build-up, which can affect performance.
