Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully unbox all parts and hardware. Lay them out and cross-reference with the assembly manual to ensure everything is present.
- Identify Parts: Familiarize yourself with each panel and piece of hardware. Separating screws, cams, and dowels can streamline the process.
- Assemble Base: Begin by attaching the side panels to the bottom panel, using the provided dowels and cam locks/screws.
- Install Shelves: Gradually add the internal vertical and horizontal dividers, securing each one as per the instructions. Work systematically to ensure all connections are tight.
- Attach Top Panel: Once all internal cubes are formed, attach the top panel, ensuring all connections are secure and the unit is square.
- Tighten All Connections: Double-check all cam locks and screws, tightening them firmly but not overtightening to avoid damage.
- Position and Level: Place the unit in its desired location and check for stability. If needed, adjust its position slightly or use furniture pads to level it on uneven floors.
Compatibility
This 9-cube unit, with its simple and novel design, is highly compatible with a wide range of interior styles, particularly modern, minimalist, contemporary, and Scandinavian aesthetics. Its white finish offers a neutral base that can integrate into various color schemes. It fits well in living rooms, bedrooms, home offices, studies, and even larger hallways or entryways requiring organization.
Care
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and light smudges. For stubborn marks, a mild, non-abrasive household cleaner can be used, followed by wiping with a dry cloth.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or ammonia-based products, as these can damage the particle board finish.
- Protect from Moisture: Keep the unit away from excessive moisture and direct sunlight to prevent warping, discoloration, or material degradation.
- Check Connections: Periodically inspect all screws and cam locks to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary to maintain the unit's stability.
- Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the cubes and avoid placing excessively heavy items in a single cube to prevent undue stress on the structure.
