Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure your subfloor is clean, dry, and level before installation. Minor imperfections in the subfloor can be accommodated by the flooring's thickness, but significant unevenness should be addressed. Follow the manufacturer's recommended installation method for best results, whether that involves adhesive or a click-lock system.
Compatibility: This vinyl flooring is suitable for most residential rooms, including living areas, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, and bathrooms. It can typically be installed over existing suitable hard flooring, provided it is level and secure.
Care: Maintain the flooring by sweeping or vacuuming regularly to remove grit and debris. For deeper cleaning, use a damp mop with a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Avoid using excessive water, steam mops, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the vinyl. Protect the floor from heavy furniture by using felt pads on legs, and use mats at entrances to trap dirt and moisture.
