Yes, you must use embossed vacuum bags or rolls to allow the machine to remove the air correctly.
The Caterlite is a light-duty solution; it is best suited for small prep tasks rather than high-volume, continuous industrial use.
Simply press the cancel function button on the control panel to stop the vacuum cycle at any time.
Wait for the unit to cool down completely, then wipe the sealing area gently with a clean, damp cloth.
The unit features a 300mm sealing width, allowing you to use bags up to 30cm wide.
Ensure you are using embossed bags or rolls and verify the bag opening is centered and flat on the sealing bar.
Check that the seal area is clean and free of food particles, then ensure the lid is fully locked before starting the cycle.
Confirm the power connection is secure and check that the unit is on a level surface with the lid properly engaged.
Setting up the machine is straightforward; simply place it on a stable, flat surface and connect the power cable to a standard wall outlet. The unit is compatible exclusively with embossed vacuum bags or rolls, which are necessary for the machine to grip the bag and draw air out effectively. To maintain the unit, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth after each use. Ensure the sealing area is kept free of food debris to maintain an airtight seal. Never immerse the unit in water.
