Care & Maintenance
Regular care ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Daewoo Cyclone Essential vacuum.
- Emptying the Dust Tank: It is recommended to empty the 0.8L dust tank after each use or when the 'Max' fill line is reached. To empty, simply press the release button to detach the tank and discard the contents into a bin.
- Cleaning the HEPA Filter: The washable HEPA filter should be cleaned regularly, typically every 4-6 uses or if suction power noticeably decreases.
- Remove the dust tank.
- Carefully extract the HEPA filter.
- Tap out any loose dirt over a waste bin.
- Rinse the filter under cold running water until clean. Do not use detergents or hot water.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Ensure it is bone dry to prevent mold and damage.
- Cleaning the Floor Head: Periodically check the brush roll and nozzle of the floor head for tangled hair, string, or blockages. Remove any obstructions to maintain effective suction.
- Cord Storage: Always wind the 8m power cord neatly after use to prevent tangles and damage.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the vacuum with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
